This property is beautiful, vast, and romantic. There are so many things to do. It really makes you appreciate the wonders of nature. The food is delicious, really farm to table, and they even have a menu for dogs! Take an archery lesson or learn about birds of prey in their falconry class! Or just go on a gorgeous hike and discover all the friendly ranch animals. Highly recommend getting a room with an outdoor tub, as well. You won’t regret it.

Carmel Valley Ranch is our favorite romantic get-away location. The gorgeous views, whether from our room, the Valley Kitchen restaurant, or the main pool, are a huge draw. The service is outstanding–the reservation, reception, guest services, dining, and housekeeping staff make us feel welcome and pampered every time. It’s a bit like the theme song from the “Cheers” TV show–it’s a place “where everybody knows our name.” A shout out to Jessica, Ken, Connor, Jose, Manuel, Eliza, Karly, and Mercedes. You guys are truly a team who pulls it all together.
