The Carmel Valley Ranch Golf Academy is designed to help you take your game to the next level. Offering personalized one- to four-day programs along with private options, our instruction will help you shave strokes from your score with state-of-the-art video analysis, club fitting, on-course playing lessons, and more.
Groups
The only Pete Dye-designed golf course in Northern California, Carmel Valley Ranch is perfect for all skill levels—which makes it perfect for group outings and events. With holes ranging from riverside par-3s to challenging par-5s winding into the foothills of the Santa Lucias, it’s a scenic setting where everyone can have a great time.
Whether you want to host a charity event, corporate group, or any other kind of gathering, Carmel Valley Ranch offers a variety of packages and services. We can provide cart signs and personalized scorecards, create a special scoreboard for your group (and manage the overall scoring), and host an awards lunch or dinner in our clubhouse. And our spectacular all-grass driving range is included with all events.
Night Golf
Team-Building Activity
While your guests are having dinner and cocktails, they can also enjoy a new twist on traditional golf with Night Golf, one of our most popular events. With target greens on the driving range at 65, 95, and 110 yards—lit by luminaries and glow-in-the-dark flagsticks-each player hits three shots to each target with glow-in-the-dark golf balls.

Team-Building Activity
We’ll divide your group into four-person teams and use the first four holes on our golf course to present you with a variety of different challenges!
$120 per person | 3-32 participants
1st Hole: Frisbee Best Ball / Pitching
Each player will maneuver their way down the first hole with a Frisbee, counting how many throws they make until they hit the pin on the green. The best score will be selected. Then, the team captain will choose one player to do the pitching challenge to add to the team’s Frisbee score.
2nd Hole: Hockey Best Ball / Chipping
Each player will make their way to the second green with a hockey stick and tennis ball, counting every shot. Once on the green, they will putt the tennis ball into the hole and the best team score will be counted. The team captain then will select one player to do the chipping challenge to add to the team’s hockey score.
3rd Hole: Tennis Best Ball / Putting
With a tennis racket and ball, players count how many shots it takes to get to the third green. Then they will putt the tennis ball into the hole, with the best score counting for the team. One player selected by the team captain will then complete the putting challenge, adding to their tennis score.
4th Hole: Golf Scramble / Bunker Shots
Each player will tee off from the forward tee. After selecting the best tee shot, each team member hits again from that spot, continuing the process until the ball is holed. This will be followed by a bunker challenge.
Flow Instruction

Flow Instruction is a great way to enhance your golf event and give attendees an experience to remember. It includes a reserved warm-up area, warm-up balls, and tips from our onsite Golf Academy instructors.

Playing with correctly fit equipment is an integral part of our performance formula that allows your natural talents to come to life. We’ll evaluate your current equipment, give you our sizing recommendations to make sure your equipment is compatible with your physique and swing, and offer suggestions on your set makeup.

V1 Digital Video System
A digital coach might be a luxury, but here, it comes with the territory. Once your swing is captured on our two-camera system, you and your golf pro can evaluate it using visual enhancements. Our split-screen capability enables us to look at your swing from two different camera angles simultaneously. Left-handed? Not to worry. Any of our model swings or drills can be flipped at the touch of a button. Following your session, we’ll store your video lesson on our website (complete with commentary and drills), where you can access it anytime.
