Naturally, a place for play is a place for families, and one of the best things about The Ranch is that everyone feels like we designed some activities and adventures just for them—because that’s exactly what we did! From toddlers to teens, parents to grandparents, here the generations can make memories together but enjoy time on their own, too..

A Trip for the ages
(All ages, that is)
River Ranch
Our main activity hub, River Ranch was made for all-ages fun—you can (and probably will) spend hours here! It’s home to the Family Pool, as well as our new children’s wading pool and splash pad, tennis and pickleball courts, an adult pool, the River Ranch Café, and much more.
You might just call it Happiness HQ for our younger guests, thanks to special programming at the Adventure Den and Game Lawn. Want to stick around while they play? We’ve got fire pits and loungers with your name on them.
Adventure Den
Launching Summer 2024
Offering age-appropriate activities for Adventure Tots (2-5) and Adventure Kids (5-12), the brand-new Adventure Den was designed to encourage imaginative play with craft stations, daily excursions, and more. Each day of the week brings a new theme, from Marine Mondays to Farmer Fridays and beyond. Even better, half- and full-day options—along with a Kids’ Night Out—mean parents can take as much time for themselves as they like!
Full day: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., $230 per child | Half day: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., $125 per child | $35 per hour per child
Light snacks included, optional lunch from River Ranch Café
Kids’ Night Out: 5-9 p.m., $150 per child, dinner included
Game Lawn
Teens need their own space—and our Game Lawn at River Ranch gives it to them. They can play lawn games such as cornhole/bags, enjoy a daily treat station with sweets such as candy, ice cream, and snow cones, and maybe, just maybe, make it an hour or two without looking at a screen.
NEW ACTIVITIES FOR SUMMER!
Summer is prime time for play, which is why we’ve got a bunch of new activities just for the season! From glow-in-the-dark hiking to geocaching, disc golf, and adventures that are both interactive and educational (shh, don’t tell), every day is filled with new opportunities.
Munchkin Menu
We’ve got lots for the tiniest tots (and their parents), too—our Munchkin Menu offers hiking strollers, night lights, board games, a special coloring book about The Ranch, and more.
FUR IN THE FAMILY?
Pets might love The Ranch just as much as their humans, because every dog that stays with us gets gourmet homemade treats and even ZinfanTail Dog Wine (don’t worry—it’s healthy). A comfy memory-foam bed and goodies from Fable don’t hurt, either.
Feed the Whole Crew
While we can’t invite your furry friends to Valley Kitchen, we love it when guests bring their kids—and as part of our big reimagination, we’ve got all-new menus with special dishes they’ll love for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Don’t forget dessert! (Not that they would let you.)
