So while we love horseback riding, our new interactive Equine Experiences offer something completely different—and positively magical.
New to The Ranch, these experiences give you several ways to relax and rejuvenate in the comfort of our equine world. Each provides the opportunity to join experts and horse whisperers in our expansive, state-of-the-art outdoor arena, perched high above the beautiful Carmel Valley. The hardest part is figuring out which to choose!
Getting to Know the Herd
A wonderful introduction to horseplay and personalities, Getting to Know the Herd invites you to spend time mingling among our highly socialized herd to learn how to speak “horse” through vocal and body cues. When we’re fearful, they back off. When we’re calm and confident, they lean in. It’s no wonder horses are considered natural mirrors into human nature.
Growing Awareness
Trade screen time and stress for Growing Awareness. In this engaging session, you’ll share fun, challenging activities with our allies (the horses) as you learn to truly absorb the moment— something our equines do exceptionally well. You will begin to recognize your barriers, move toward a balanced mind, and uplift your physical, emotional, and relational well-being.
Discover Joy
Explore the many benefits of happiness in Discover Joy, our equine-assisted journey to less stress, better heart health, a stronger immune system, increased energy, and more—it’s a supernova of delight and fulfillment. Working with and watching our horses through a series of fascinating exercises, you’ll discover what hinders your joy and what will help you on your way to a joy-filled life.
Equines and Wine
Pairing two of our favorite experiences, Equines and Wine invites you to unwind with our horses as you take in the sheer force of their grace, wisdom, strength, and sensitivity. Feeling more grounded in their presence, you’ll relax to the rhythm as our equine families enjoy dinner and you savor a glass of local wine. What better way to toast an idyllic Carmel Valley day?
