This is because horses are quite intelligent—and very social. They need relationships to feel happy and fulfilled, just like we do. They can read intent and emotion, just like we can. Their hearts can even impact ours: One study showed that the electromagnetic energy from a horse’s heart can influence our own heart rhythm to match.
And believe it or not, they can help us rediscover our authenticity and build stronger connections.
