Bring the Kids
The lifeblood of Carmel Valley Ranch is our vast array of activities, and River Ranch is the heart of it all! We’re thrilled to announce the Adventure Den, our new activities center offering themed activities for our youngest guests—including Adventure Tots (ages 2-5) and Adventure Kids (ages 5-12). A brand-new playground gives everybody plenty of room to play, and we’ve just launched Game Lawn, an outdoor lawn space with games, daily treats, and more.
Splish Splash
River Ranch has not one, not two, but three pools! The main Family Pool is a playful scene for all ages and includes a newly renovated hot tub along with a new children’s Wading Pool and Splash Pad for our littlest guests. And the Flex Pool (which also has a hot tub) is for adults looking for lap swimming and leisurely lounging. New landscaping, loungers, and fire pits make our pool areas the perfect place to relax!
Get Your Workout In
Resort guests and members have access to our renovated fitness center and movement studio along with complimentary daily classes ranging from yoga and barre to high-intensity training such as TRX and Bodypump. Whether you want to build strength, boost flexibility, or simply burn off that second round of s’mores from last night around the fire, River Ranch has a workout for you! When you’re done, you’ll love our new locker rooms, which have been completely remodeled to increase both capacity and comfort.
Hit the Courts
Whether you’re a pickleball player or have a love-love relationship with tennis (see what we did there?), you can hit our just-resurfaced courts for some friendly competition. We make it easy to get into the swing of things, with clinics, open play, professional instruction, and social events—we’ve even got ping-pong for families who prefer table tennis!
Laid-back bites
The new River Ranch Bar & Grill is an open-air setting with prime views and a carefree attitude. But we’re serious about the menu—which has everything from great burgers to healthy bowls, along with craft beers, local wines, and cocktails made with ingredients grown right here.
Kids’ Experiences
You can never have enough things for the kids to do, which is why we’ve introduced even more experiences for families to enjoy this summer! From walking around with our goats to digging around in our gardens and searching around for clues on our scavenger hunts, you’ll find great ways to play—for any age and any day.
